We are thrilled to share that we are currently renovating our very own Verdant Interiors Studio and Showroom… a dedicated space where we can work, welcome clients, share ideas, and showcase a curated collection of our favourite suppliers. In time, we’ll also be opening a small retail area to celebrate even more of the local makers we love. Our aim is to create a real design hub here in Windermere that is both welcoming and community-focused.
The transformation is already underway… set in a characterful Lakeland building with industrial charm, the space – formerly a bar and café – is being reimagined to reflect who we are and what we do.
So far, we’ve stripped everything back, restored the beautiful parquet floors, added a new log burner (perfect for cosy winter meetings), freshened up the walls, and are mid-makeover on the staircase. Scroll down to see the progress so far!
First Step: Gutting the Space!
We began by taking apart the original bar and all appliances, removing the rustic timber features, and of course, sampling paints!
Getting One Step Closer...
The transformation is in full swing as we tackle rewiring, painting, and restoring the original floors. We chose Dimity by Farrow & Ball for the walls – a beautifully warm neutral – and began sanding and oiling the parquet, which is already looking stunning.
One of our favourite updates so far is the cream Charnwood log burner, bringing both charm and comfort. We’ve also installed sleek ceiling fans to help regulate the temperature throughout the space.
Next up—the staircase transformation. We’re covering the metal railings with a beautifully curved partition, finished in grooved panelling for a softer, more characterful look.

We can’t wait to share more soon, including our official opening date. Stay tuned!
