We’re thrilled to share our latest transformation, a serene second home set within Windermere Marina Village. Our clients approached us in early 2025 for help refreshing a recently purchased property that felt tired, uninspiring, and hadn’t been modernized in a number of years.
Their goal was twofold: create a space that felt personal and peaceful for their own visits, while standing out as a high-performing holiday let. Our task? To bring the property up to scratch with the area’s best rentals – adding warmth, character, and lasting functionality to make it truly shine and boost bookings.
As our clients were living abroad, they opted for the full Design & Project Management service. We handled every stage of the renovation, which included:
Creating a complete design package with new furnishings, lighting, and paint choices
Ordering and receiving all furniture and materials, managing the budget on their behalf across suppliers, contractors, and on-site trades
Disposing of existing furnishings and managing project waste
Coordinating trusted trades with regular site visits to ensure smooth, on-time delivery
Dressing and styling the home, ready for a seamless handover

Now fully transformed, Windward Way is a calm and characterful escape tailored to our clients and a hit with their guests. With glowing reviews and a calendar full of summer bookings, we couldn’t be more delighted with how it’s come together.
